Magoz is a self-taught conceptual illustrator who gets inspiration from abstract ideas and the outside world. Since 2013, he had his desk set up in countries such as the UK, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Finland. Now, his travels brought him to Sweden where he creates simple, minimal illustrations with no strokes, patterns or crazy details, all while having the message loud and clear.
Magoz was born in sunny and exciting Barcelona, but soon enough his work desk became the entire world. He traveled far, but his illustrations traveled even further. From magazines, newspapers and adverts, his impressive, ever-increasing list of clients includes The New York Times, AdWeek and The Wall Street Journal, among others.
Should we say anything more?
Okay, ‘cause we’ll do. He masterfully plays with colors, shapes, dimension and perspective and successfully manages to change our take on the real world. Moreover, his magical collaboration with Jose Lorenzo takes things one step further (if that’s even possible!) and blows our minds with simple, subtle and eye-catching animations.
Now prepare your pens and papers and open your minds. Because communicating strong ideas with as little elements as possible is a skill that few can master and Magoz will share his wisdom with us at Visual Playground 2019. Are you ready?
